A Shave and a Haircut

We took Braxton for his first hair cut this evening. For the longest time his hair had this beautiful curl to it but beginning last weekend that was no more. We had to do something. Brandon couldn't take him being called "her" one more time. Brandon called "Jim" to see when he worked. Jim cut Brandon's hair, his brother's, his dad's, his grandfather's, and his great-grandfather's. So it'd be safe to say that Jim had to cut Braxton's.

Braxton was all smiles when we first arrived. That quickly changed when we put him in the chair. Jim gave him a lollipop and Braxton handed it back and said "puh-rease". He cried but was manageable.

10 minutes later my little baby had become a big boy! He received another lollipop and was as happy as could be. And for all of you dying to know, yes, we have it on video so you can see it.

A Fabulous Weekend

Chris and Ali made a trip down from the Big Apple for the long weekend. They arrived on Thursday and left on Monday afternoon. We enjoyed spending some time with them that wasn't at Christmas or vacation.
Chris and Ali (along with Grandaddy and Allyson) kept Braxton on Monday when Brandon and I had to return to work. They all spent the day together and eventually took the travelers to the airport in the early afternoon. Braxton came home in the best mood!

So after a day filled with fun here's the real question. Who is more tired; Braxton or Grandaddy?

Dining Room= Done

Project #2 is complete. Brandon did the entire dining room in 5 days. It really looks incredible! We should have done it when we remodeled 2 years ago! I think the next job around here will be to repaint the office. You can just see a little bit of it behind the dining room in one of the pictures.
